maybe it's half empty, maybe it's half full...The glass is perpetually half empty for me. Which sounds like a greek underworld punishment, like the guy who was forced to live for eternity in knee deep water, with an apple tree right above his head. But every time he knelt down to get some water, or reached up to get some food, it moved just ever so slightly out of reach.
Still, I'd prefer that to being chained to a rock and having a bird fly past me every couple years and peck out my guts...
